How do I use US Local Access Numbers?

International participants can dial a US local access number and incur their own long-distance charges.  The meeting host pays the same per-minute domestic conferencing rate for all participants, while the participant would incur charges imposed by their service plan for placing the call.

Step 1: Dial the selected US local access number. Available US local access numbers are available online using the below link.

Step 2: Dial your Room Number # (Note: if using a US toll free audio conference room, the room number is the same as the toll free number.)

 

Step 3: Follow additional prompts as usual

 

Example:

Mr. Smith has a US conference room number 866-123-1234. He arrived in France and needs to hold a conference call. He wants to use the US local access number for Atlanta, Georgia.

Host, Mr. Smith,  in France will dial:
00 1 678 954 0521 (Atlanta’s local access number)
Then: 8661231234#
Then: PIN#

Participants from the US will simply dial their US room number:
866-123-1234

Participants from outside of the US could either dial the Atlanta local access number or could dial into the Belgium international local access number then: 8661231234#
